Visitor Checklist

What to Bring to Your Visit

Whether you are bringing in a single gold ring, a coffee can of vintage silver coins, or multiple estate boxes, here is how to prepare for the best possible experience.

1. Valid Photo ID

Under Arizona Revised Statutes (§ 44-1602) governing precious metals dealers, sellers must present a valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID) to complete a transaction.

2. DO NOT Clean Anything!

We cannot stress this enough: never polish, dip, wipe, or wash coins or vintage jewelry. Cleaning removes the original patina and hairline surfaces, permanently destroying up to 90% of a coin's numismatic collector premium.

Read our Never Clean Coins advisory →

3. Original Holders & Boxes

If your coins, bullion, or jewelry came in original United States Mint velvet boxes, envelopes, grading slabs (PCGS, NGC, ANACS), or laboratory certificates (GIA, AGS), please bring them along. They can add collector provenance.

4. Broken or Tangled Items

Don't leave broken chains, single earrings, bent gold teeth, or dented silverware pieces behind. We test metal purity with laboratory XRF fluorescence regardless of condition — all gold and silver holds intrinsic melt value.
